Puan Pushpa's Birthday & Taxi Nightmare

On the 16 of April 2008, Wednesday,was Puan Pushpa's birthday. We did not have class with her on that day. Therefore, we combined with 3 Nilam to celebrate her birthday.

At 8.30 all the Berlians went to 3 Nilam and and hid in their class. We hid under tables and chairs while the 3 Nilam students sat at their places like normal.

When Pn Pushpa came in the 3 Nilam students wished her good morning. Then, the berlians got up and freezed together with the 3 Nilam students. We then sang her a happy birthday song.

The square cake is from 5 Berlian and the round cake from 3 Nilam.

It was Sharifah's birthday too..

In the evening we had co-curriculum so, we went to KFC to have our lunch.Edna went for chess competition, Sarah ate in school, Shobana and Lian Ee was busy. So, only Amrit, Ee Li, Esther , Kohila and Carolyn went to KFC.

After having our lunch, we decided to go hang around in Metro for a while before heading back to school. It was drizzling outside. As we were about to leave we realised that it was raining heavily outside. We panicked as we had to get back to school and we had no umbrella.

We taught of going back secara berperingkat but Esther, Carolyn and Ee Li said we will get wet and may fall sick. They suggested we took a cab back to school. We all agreed ran towards the taxi quickly to get the back seat. Poor Ee Li had to sit in front.

Soon as we entered the cab, the malay taxi driver locked the back door. There was a pillow in front with Ee Li, Ee li took the pillow and put it aside. However, the taxi driver took the pillow and gave it to Ee Li again saying "take the pillow, hug hug the pillow". He then played a cd which had songs of god-knows-what-language. We started laughing and he said "don't laugh la".

We laughed all the way to Convent while listening to his stupid song. He even interviewed Ee Li. As soon as he stoped in front of the school's side gate, Ee Li payed him the money and he told us not to open the door until he says so. We were shocked and we obviously panicked. Esther opened the door and we ran out . We swore not to take a taxi again especially that taxi.

Teacher's Day Celebration 2008

On the Thursday, 22nd May 2008, our school celebrated teachers day. All the students were asked to assemble at the badminton court for the opening ceremony.

After the jamuan, all students had to gather in the pavilion for some persembahan.

We waited so long for the teachers to arrive

Actually there was another persembahan that is group dancing by form 4's but camera ran out of battery. Overall the whole event was B-O-R-I-N-G ! None of the persembahan was nice and it was a total waste of time. Everything was over by 12.00pm . Hooray ! At last, we were free
from that boring event.

Sarah's 17th Birthday

We all have been waiting for this day a month before that... planning planning and planning.

It was very hard to come up with a plan as after school Sarah is always in a hurry to get back home.

After much planning we came up with an idea to slow her down when the bell rings at 1.00 pm.
Unfortunately we had 2 "little" problems :

1. no matches
2. no camera

At 12.55 pm Shobana was already waiting outside our class and we asked her to get the matches. At 1.00 pm when the bell rang Amrit and Carolyn ran out of the class as planned to see whether Shobana got the matches. Esther was suppose to get the cake from the lab refrigerator. The rest, Lian Ee, Kohila, Ee Li and Edna was suppose to slow Sarah down.

By the time Amrit and Carolyn got the matches the rest were still not to be seen (good) and so was Esther Siah (bad). Amrit ran to get Esther who was walking slowly. Her excuse for doing so, "I didnt think you guys will be that fast". Dear Esther were are faster than you ! Bluek.. By the time Esther reached the canteen Sarah was already there.

So we quickly got everything ready and sang her a happy birthday song and everyone in the canteen was looking at us. Then, we remembered about Pn.Pushpa and we ran to the staff room to call her to join us. We had to light the candles again and sing the happy birthday song AGAIN. We also got her a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Then we took turns feeding Sarah and she gave a piece of cake to Pn Lim. By 1.30 pm we were all done.


To Sarah, hope you had a great day and hope you enjoyed our surprise for you. May all your wishes come true and may God shower you with all His blessings. Friends forever !!!
